BIOEAST as a driving force in the context of the European Green Deal

BIOEAST, an EU-funded Central-Eastern European Initiative for Knowledge-based Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry in the Bioeconomy, is ready to play a key role in achieving the ambitious objectives of the European Green Deal.

This high-level conference will gather key political figures, ministry officials, policymakers, researchers, academia and other BIOEAST stakeholders to discuss emerging policy developments and key priorities at the European level.

The second day of the conference is dedicated to parallel meetings of BIOEAST Thematic Working Groups. Discussions will focus on the ongoing challenges, policies and priority settings.

Eleni Zika, BBI JU’s Head of Programme, will introduce the BBI JU during the session ‘Bioenergy and bio-based materials’.
